I’ve been fortunate enough lately where interviews have come pretty frequent, with three last week alone and three in a single DAY the month before that. I underestimated, however, how emotionally draining all of this could be once completed. One minute I’m having a friendly conversation over a prospective job, and next I’m laid up in bed all weekend.

I actually remember a recent moment talking about this with my dad and him replying “I’m union. I haven’t really had to deal with this for as long as you’ve been alive.” Amazing how such a big part of the human experience just kind of goes unacknowledged by so many.
